Green Avocado Smoothie

This Green Avocado smoothie is the perfect drink to make in the morning for breakfast! With fat, fiber, protein and greens, this smoothie is sure to satisfy!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milkadamia, Unsweetened Vanilla Macadamia Milk (you can use your favorite unsweetened vanilla nut milk here)
  • 1/4-1/2 avocado
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 handful of greens kale, spinach and/or mixed greens will all work
  • protein powder or collagen (aim for 20-30 grams) ( I currently use organic pea protein or Vital Proteins collagen powder)
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber (you can leave the skin on)
  • handful of ice optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Drink and enjoy!
  • For a thicker consistency, place the smoothie in the fridge or freezer for about 5 minutes to let it thicken before drinking.
